Giovanni Maria RICCIO
is professor of Comparative Law (University of Salerno, Italy) where he teaches IT Law. Attorney at law, is the founder and the managing partners of Scorza Riccio & Partners, based in Rome.
He has worked in several European Universities (Oxford Intellectual Property Research Centre, St. Peter's College; Université Joseph Fourier of Grenoble; Birbeck College, University of London) and he has been a consultant of the European Commission for a study on the liability of internet intermediaries.
He is national correspondent of the "Journal of Intellectual Property and Internet Technologies" and of the Intellectual Property Centre of the Osgoode University (Canada).
Professor Riccio has written and edited 5 books and more than 50 articles in Italian and international reviews. His research area is mostly focused on liability of ISP and social network, copyright in the digital age, copyright collecting societies.
